About Us

The Society had a Branch in Bedfordshire in the mid 1880’s but in the late 1960’s the county was divided and the Bedfordshire North Branch was formed. This branch consists of men and women from all ages and backgrounds who share one common interest, namely the love of animals.

Employees and volunteers work hand in hand with each other, and together make a genuine difference to those animals that so desperately need them.

All complaints of animal cruelty are dealt with by the Society’s trained Inspectors.

Whilst we work closely with Headquarters, the Bedfordshire North Branch is a separate, fully Registered Charity in its own right and responsible for its own affairs. These include the provision of local support, guidance, fund raising and the organisation of events.

The Branch is always looking for new members and supporters who share our values and concerns about the welfare of animals. If you can relate to this and can help us in some small way, then please do contact us today.

Thank you.
